I started Liora Estate because my paycheck stopped feeling like a plan.

After my second layoff, I had a family, a mortgage, and a newborn at home.

My savings were draining.

I was driving Uber to help pay the mortgage.

And I could not ignore the question anymore:

If one employer could change my family’s life that quickly, how secure was I really?

A good job can feed your family.
It should not be the only thing protecting them.

I had done what I thought I was supposed to do.

Built the career.
Earned the income.
Provided for my family.

But layoffs taught me the truth:

A high salary can still be fragile.

And fragility feels different when people depend on you.

I was not looking for hype.
I was looking for a better plan.

I explored business ownership, acquisitions, STR arbitrage, single-family rentals, and other paths beyond the W2.

Eventually, I found multifamily.

Not because it was easy.

Because it was grounded in something real:

Housing.
Operations.
Risk.
Discipline.
Long-term value.

I was not trying to gamble my way into freedom.

I was trying to build something durable.

I have not closed my first deal yet.

That matters.

And I will not pretend otherwise.

What I have done:

  • Invested $90K+ into education, mentorship, and operator networks

  • Underwritten 80+ multifamily properties

  • Analyzed $50M+ in Texas assets

  • Toured properties across Texas

  • Met brokers, studied markets, and built systems for evaluating risk

This is the work before the first deal.

I am learning the hard way so others do not have to start from zero.

Stewardship before scale.

My faith shapes how I think about money.

Capital is not just a tool for freedom.

It is a responsibility.

That means the work has to be honest, simple, and clear.

How deals are underwritten matters.
How risks are communicated matters.
How investors are treated matters.
How residents are impacted matters.
