My Story

Hey, I’m John, a dad and a multifamily real estate investor based in Austin, TX

Liora Estates is named after my two children and was created after the birth of my second daughter, when I realized my career in tech was pulling me away from the things that mattered most—my family and my faith. I wanted a life with more presence, more stability, and more intention. Real estate became the path that allowed me to step toward that future.

My goal in multifamily investing isn’t just financial freedom; it’s building a legacy for my children and creating space to serve others and find like-minded partners to achieve our goals together.

For future investors, my aim is simple: to provide transparent, data-driven opportunities grounded in stewardship, servant-leadership, strong fundamentals, and long-term alignment. I want to help others build lasting wealth, not through speculation, but through thoughtful investing that supports both families and communities.

    FOUNDER | PRINCIPLE

    John brings a data-driven approach with skills in underwriting, deal sourcing, and market research. Originally from a UX design background, John brings skills in product research, design thinking, and project management which he has used to deliver business impact to fortune 500 companies and continues to bring value in his real estate investing.

    John has also owned small businesses and implemented scalable systems to grow operations across different channels, which he now utilizes in real-estate to execute business plans and achieve the best outcomes for his partners.

    Josh Roosen

    ADVISOR

    Josh Roosen is an experienced Multifamily Investor who has been investing in real estate since 2015.

    Initially wanting to be a physician, Josh got his pre-professional biology degree from Central Michigan University. However, a mentor of his advised him to go into business instead of medicine and that is when Josh discovered real estate investing. To learn from the best in the real estate investing industry Josh worked alongside two premier real estate investing education companies while furthering his own investing career before eventually going full-time on his own business in May of 2022. Josh currently owns 728 units.
